Once again I've put a few posts on at the same time, since it's been a while.

It's started raining now, and my it rains heavy. I have to say it felt a little bit scary sitting in the candle light, rain crashing down (houses tend to have tin roofs so that makes the rain sound even louder) thunder and lightning clashing away. It is quite funny though cause although there is so much water pouring from the sky not a jot was coming out the taps, which was disappointing, tried to collect some rain water but discovered rain water is quite dirty so I won't want to be washing in that (not sure if that is something I should really have known?). Continuing on the theme of disappointment it turns out my house is not quite waterproof, by that I mean the ceiling was leaking in my bedroom, so I set little buckets up and went to sleep anyway. I considered going to next door to tell them but in the one minute that would take I would have got soaked plus I would have had to phone to get the gate opened cause with the noise of the rain they would never have heard me. Also rain comes in the air vents at one side of my house, I think there is a design fault somewhere. Went off to the shop this morning as my first trek out the house and my foot fell down a hole (there was no hole there before!) in the garden, got covered in sticky mud and I've lost my shoe! I really liked that shoe as well, I might see if I can get someone to come and dig it out for me, the problem is its white so I think it may be ruined, it's not easy!
